"Beach at Rio del Mar"
In October, when California's mountains and interior valleys are feeling the fall chill, the coast has warm, sunny days. Vacationers have gone home; the beaches are almost empty except for occassional runners, a few mothers with young children, sand pipers and seagulls. You can see this small painting at KALEID Gallery, 88 South Fourth St, San Jose, Tuesday through Friday, noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday, noon to 5 p.m..
